About

We march together–as members of underrepresented groups, as women, and as allies–in solidarity to defend the most marginalized among us; for equity and social justice; and to use our strength to create a lasting impact.

The Atlanta March for Social Justice & Women will be a peaceful demonstration of solidarity bringing together members of underrepresented communities, women, and their allies from Georgia and nationally. The march will be held on January 21, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Center for Civil and Human Rights and will conclude at the Georgia State Capitol.

Through coalition building with numerous Atlanta area and Georgia social justice organizations, this one-time event gathers people together, in collective action, towards creating change at local and state levels, and to represent ourselves as America in which full humanity and dignity of people is recognized.

    1. Hi Louise! Outreach has been in touch with several local organizations to both march with us and join our leadership team! We should have a list of participating organizations posted here soon! Meanwhile, if you have a specific input, please do contact our Director of Outreach: Megan Ralston Kucik megank.atlantamarch@gmail.com
